The Serbian national team reached the final round of Euro 2024, drawing with Bulgaria (2:2).
Having opened the scoring, the Serbs conceded twice during the second half. Losing the score (1:2), the Serbs almost said goodbye to their cherished pass. The saving grace for them was Srdjan Babic’s goal in the 82nd minute.
Montenegro was ahead in the score against Hungary in the middle of the 2nd half (1:0) and at some point became second in the live table, but ultimately lost the match (1:3).
Group G results: Hungary (18), Serbia (14), Montenegro (11), Lithuania (6), Bulgaria (4).
In addition to Serbia, Hungary, who became the winner of the quintet, also previously won a spot in Group G.
Thanks to Serbia reaching the final round directly, the national team received a guaranteed ticket to the qualifying playoffs Ukraine.
