Images have appeared on social media of the disagreement between groups of Ajax supporters during the match against SC Heerenveen. The hanging of Palestinian flags caused emotions to run high on the F-Side.
The images are from GruppaOF. You can see that there is pushing, pulling and blows being thrown. These are proponents and opponents of hanging Palestinian flags in the stadium. At least two Palestinian flags were visible at the start of the match against Heerenveen. In the final phase there were already five.

The flags have also caused some surprise on social media, especially because some Ajax supporters traditionally identify more with Israel. For example, fans sometimes sing ‘he who doesn’t jump is not a Jew’ or songs about the ‘super Jews’ in Israel. Israeli flags have also often been seen in the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
It is therefore not surprising that there were different views within the F-Side about the Palestinian flags. The Voetbal Ultras account already reported that some of the fans left the stadium. “It is a big mess on the F-Side. Part of the hard core of Ajax entered the stands with Palestine flags.
