One of the emblematic businessmen in Sandanski, Ivan Kovachev, lost everything that reminded him of his successful business years ago. The trustee in bankruptcy of his company “Metal Kims” announced all the properties and company buildings for sale a few days ago. Administrative buildings, warehouses, located on about 6 acres along the main road to Sandanski are on the counter for sale by direct agreement, Struma.com reports.

The businessman Kovachev, who was the first to develop a powerful construction business after the democratic changes, built the first mall in the resort town, built iconic buildings and was among the richest people in the Pirin region, reached almost a begging stick, barely connecting the two ends. The man, who was famous for his generosity, for making numerous donations for the development of the city, was left alone in his troubles, became ill even after being abandoned by his wife Viliana. Their love during the heyday of Kovachev’s business was legendary in Sandanski.
