The police intervened. As the young Karolina Figiel, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Nowy Dwór Gdański, told the television station, the police acted immediately. – After arriving at the site, the officers helped carry the animal to land, where they waited for the veterinarian to arrive. The boar was calm, indeed weakened, said Figiel.
What happened to the boar?
Despite quick intervention, the boar did not get veterinary help. The animal died just before the doctor arrived. – Unfortunately, the animal died before the vet arrived. It was taken for further tests – added Figiel in an interview with TVN24.
The reasons for the weakening of the boar are still unknown. The test results aim to help explain what caused the animal’s poor condition and death.
