Saturday’s playoff of the 24th round of the Chance League turned out better for Sokolov. In any case, it was a really exciting fight with Litoměřice, the young defender Ondřej Baláž scored the winning shot about three minutes before the end.
Baník went into the home match with clear goals: to maintain a 100% record in their head-to-head matches against the Stadion and to get closer to the preliminary round of the playoffs.
He succeeded…
But it was a real wilderness!
The West Bohemians overcame a one-goal deficit a total of three times, and at the beginning of the last act, they tipped the scales in their favor.
In the 52nd minute, however, Josef Slavíček gave the game a new twist. However, extra time did not happen: defender Baláž made the fans happy a few minutes before the end.
