Shortly after the big favorite Sebastian Samuelsson missed two shots, the drama found its way into the commentary booth.

A talgoxe made his way to Björn Ferry and Ola Bränholm.

– There is a bit of drama in here, says Bränholm in SVT’s broadcast.

Björn Ferry was calmer than his colleague during the bird visit.

– I have never seen you so scared, Ola, he says.

Then the biathlon legend came out as a bit of an ornithologist.

– The talgoxen is actually quite aggressive.

– Above all, you don’t like it when it flaps half a meter away from you, replies Ola Bränholm.

“Revenge me”

Despite two misses in the prone shooting, it went the way of Sebastian Samuelsson, after he was second in yesterday’s short distance.

During the morning’s sprint, he kept the favorite pressure and won.

– I wasn’t happy with the prone shooting, it chops a bit. Then I get my revenge standing up, says the victor.

“A budding star”

Second was Jesper Nelin and then Anton Ivarsson, the surprise winner of the premiere, finished.

This weekend’s two podiums can be seen as a successful start to the season for the 22-year-old.

– It’s really fun. I had a great day on the dyke, that goes a long way, he says to SVT.

One who believes that Ivarsson will go far is Sebastian Samuelsson.

– It was impressive, he didn’t miss a shot all weekend. A future star, he says.

In two weeks, the World Cup competition awaits in Östersund. It runs from 25 November to 3 December.
