Fair Play TK women are fully ready for the playoffs and Enskede LTK is also in training. Now the hunt for the other two places in the semifinals is between Helsingborgs TK, Upsala TK, Påvelunds TBK and Salk.
On Tuesday night, it was one of the last chances for both Helsingborgs TK and GLTK which met in Helsingborg in group B. The hosts took a 2-0 lead after doubles and third singles.
14-year-old Linea Bajraliu – the youngest in HTK – played her first singles match in the elite series and won against Frida Weijerman 6-2, 6-1.
– It was really fun! I was a little nervous at first, but I thought it went well, says Linea.
Helsingborg’s TK secured the two points thanks to Caijsa Hennemann’s victory against Nellie Taraba Wallberg in the first singles and finally won 3-1.
Fair Play TK, victorious away against KLTK, are ready for the semi-finals after four wins in as many games.
Now the second place in the semifinals is between Helsingborgs TK and Upsala TK, who both have four points. To say the least, a busy Wednesday night is expected when those teams meet in Helsingborg.
It is a slight advantage for HTK to advance with a draw.
– I absolutely believe that we have a chance to win. It would be really fun to play in the playoffs and win everything, says Linea Bajraliu.

Enskede LTK is practically ready for the semifinals. Second place in the semifinals is between Påvelunds TBK and Salk, who meet on Wednesday night in a decider match.
In the men’s elite series, the reigning Fair Play champions TK won 4-0 at home against the hitherto undefeated Påvelunds TBK. It was a statement and a half foot in the playoffs, which will be played in the team’s hometown of Malmö this weekend.
– I haven’t played singles for a while, so it was a bit unusual. But I got into it and played better and better, says Filip after the 7-6, 6-1 win against Henrik Bladelius.
