A visitor to the 24-hour Solexrace in Heeswijk-Dinther was killed on Saturday evening. He and some good friends tried to raise a weighty tree trunk. This went erroneous. The tree trunk finished up over the 21-12 months-previous from Deurne.
The incident happened all-around 2 am. Ambulance officers and a trauma helicopter had been immediately identified as, but the target died right before she could be taken to the medical center.
“Deeply amazed and defeated”
Police ended up investigating the website just after the deadly incident. The party was interrupted for some time just before then. The situation has since reopened. “We assume a deadly accident and are not investigating more,” a spokesperson explained.
The corporation of the Solexrace Festival claims to be “deeply amazed and defeated”. A spokesperson indicates that, after consulting the victim’s spouse and children, it was determined to keep on the party in an adapted form. The spokesperson has not but been in a position to say how the competition will be adapted. “We are nonetheless talking about it.”
