But for Los Angeles, the loss of rapper Drakeo The Ruler is one of the hardest to swallow. After being stabbed backstage at the Once Upon A Time In LA festival, hosted by Snoop Dogg, Drakeo, real name Darrell Caldwell, succumbed to his injuries.

A big loss for Los Angeles
Drakeo the Ruler, born Darrell Coldwell, stabbed to death during festival concert Once Upon a Time de Snoop Dogg. TMZ reports that Drakeo was killed in a brawl that broke out backstage. Los Angeles Police, California Highway Patrol, and firefighters attended the festival grounds at Exposition Park. Unfortunately, they couldn’t save Drakeo and took him to the hospital. The LA Times reports that paramedics intervened at around 8:40 p.m. in the 3900 block of South Hoover Street, specifying that Drakeo the Ruler was the target of a group of ill-intentioned individuals.
Since the rapper was killed backstage at a festival he was scheduled to perform at, his mother, Darrylene Corniel, has already made it known that she plans to take the event to court. “You brought in more people than you expected. Drakeo’s brother Devonte Caldwell aka Ralfy The Plug was with the late rapper when he was attacked and is devastated by the loss as well.
