Several Christmas markets are organized in the Var region in December. BFM Toulon Var reports the dates of the main markets.
The Christmas spirit has already reached the Var region. Several Christmas markets have already opened or will open in November and December in several towns in the area. BFM Toulon Var stocks the list of the main markets of the region.
• Toulon, from 22 November to 31 December
The Christmas market has already stayed in Toulon. It runs until Tuesday 31 December.
The Christmas village is set up on the Place de la Liberté. On the programme, in particular, a merry tree, a sled track, magic bubbles and a large tree placed on Place Victor-Hugo.
“I hope that this program will be enjoyed by young and old, from Toulon and the surrounding area,” wrote Josée Massi, mayor of Toulon, in a press kit.
Christmas Village will be open from 10:30am to 9pm, Monday to Thursday, 10:30am to 10:30pm Friday and Saturday and 10:30am to 9pm on Sunday.

• La Garde, from November 22 to December 29
In the town of La Garde, the Christmas market started on November 22nd and will be held until December 29th.
Christmas table, decorations, crafts… Almost 85 booths are set up for the event.
They are open Monday from 2pm to 8:30pm, Tuesday to Sunday from 10:30am to 8:30pm and until 10pm on Friday and Saturday. Please note that they will be closed on December 25th.
• Hyères, from November 29 to January 5
“Hyères in celebration”. The Christmas market in this Var town also started on November 29. It closes on January 5th.
On the program for visitors: ice rink, fireworks and lots of entertainment.
It is held on Place Clémenceau, every day from 11 am to 9 pm and until 10 pm on Friday and Saturday.

• Carqueiranne, from 30 November to 1 December
Carqueiranne also has a Christmas market. The event takes place next week in the town from 5:30pm to 7pm on Saturday, November 30 and from 8:30am to 12pm on Sunday, December 1.
It takes place on the square in front of the Sainte-Marie-Madeleine church. The sale of pastries, jams and delicatessens will be organized after the mass in the church square.
• Brignoles, from December 7 to January 5
A Christmas market will also be held in the town of Brignoles from December 7th to January 5th.
“Saturday, December 7, we invite you to celebrate the city,” wrote Mayor Didier Brémond in a press release.

• Saint-Raphaël, from December 7 to January 5
Just like Brignoles, from December 7 to January 5, residents of Saint-Raphaël and the surrounding area will be able to enjoy the Christmas market.
“For four weeks, the streets of the town are lively and illuminated in the spirit of Christmas.
Several chalets will be installed in the town for the event.
• Flassans-sur-Issole, from December 7 to December 8
The town of Flassans-sur-Issole is also organizing a Christmas market, from 7 to 8 December.
Events include a pétanque tournament, ice rink, fireworks and Christmas sauerkraut.
It will be open on Saturday, December 7 from 10 am to 7 pm on Place Jean-Jaurès and Place de l’Église and from 10 am to 5 pm the following day.
• Draguignan, from December 8 to January 5
Several Christmas markets will be held in the town of Draguignan. Starting with the one on Sunday 8 December in the market square, from 10am to 6pm.
A craft market will then be held from Saturday December 14 to Tuesday December 24, on Boulevard Clémenceau.
Other exhibitors will be taking part in an “exhibition tent market” from Friday December 13 to Tuesday December 24. There will also be a “restaurant tent market” from Friday December 13 to Tuesday December 24.

• La Seyne-sur-Mer, from 14 to 29 December
“This is the moment we have all been waiting for, young and old,” says Nathalie Bicais, mayor of La Seyne-sur-Mer. The town is organizing a “true gourmet” Christmas market, from December 14 to 29 at Páirc a Chavlach.
It will be inaugurated on December 13 at 6 pm, in the presence of chef Ghislaine Arabian, the first woman with two stars in the Michelin Guide, but also Alexandre Fabris, chef of the Château de Valmer and 1 star in the Michelin Guide, Frédéric Jaunault, Meilleur Ouvrier from France early fruit, from Marie-Jo Germon, head of the Foreign Ministry and chef of the Republic.
“Our wish is that our Christmas market has its own signature: around gastronomy, knowledge, mystery and the art of living. In La Seyne-sur-Mer, we love beautiful things, and as we often say: ‘We are good here'”, explained the mayor.
• Carnoules, 15 December
Carnoules town will hold its Christmas market on Sunday, December 15.
“Discover local artisans and their special products for your Christmas gifts,” invites the city on its social networks.
