The collective “Emergency in the night emergencies of the Draguignan hospital” announces a new night closure 7 days a week of the emergency department of the Dracénie Hospital Center (CHD), starting Monday July 4. Alarming news at the start of the summer season, when tourists arrive in large numbers.

But news that does not really surprise Frédéric Duthé, member of the collective. He accuses: “the reopening, as short as it was, had nothing but a political motivation in the middle of the legislative elections. We suspected it and, the proof: we are back at the starting point after their beautiful speeches .”
The information would have been communicated during “of an instance with the staff representatives, this Tuesday. There are still not enough people to provide the service and it seems that there is no real will to recruithe judges. So, now, what will the director, the mayor, the new deputy do? We are waiting for them.”
More than 35 weeks after the start of this crisis, the collective and the unions are not giving up. “We are expecting as many of you as possible this Friday, at 8 p.m., in front of the CHD to demonstrate against this disastrous situation. It is imperative that mobilization be done with us, the people of Haut-Var.”
