EasyPark announces the availability of its application for payment in parking lots in Draguignan.
A first in France for EasyPark, which digitizes the payment of all the parking supply (street and car park) in the city.
EasyPark, number 1 in digital parking payment in Europe and present in 3,200 cities around the world, announces the launch of its application in on-site car parks[1] of the city of Draguignan from March 21, 2022. Already available on the streets in the city since 2020, this extension of the mobile parking payment offer will now allow motorists in Draguignan to benefit from payment for their parking with the same application, in the streets and in the city’s five car parks: Victoire, Azemar, Musées, Horloge, Louis Go.
Operation of the EasyPark application for on-site parking
The EasyPark application can be downloaded for free on smartphones[2]. It instantly geolocates the motorist and allows him to start parking in one click, without going through the parking meter to pay for his parking. Payment is simply made with a bank card, like a classic e-commerce payment[3].
With the availability in the car parks under construction, motorists will now be able to pay for their parking there without a ticket and without going through the automatic pay stations. Its operation is simple:
Parking mode selection: After activating the pay-as-you-go option via the CameraPark service in the app for one or more vehicles, the user will be able to access partner car parks via an automatic plate reading system. A camera reads the license plate when entering and leaving the car park, allowing via the CameraPark option to automatically start and stop parking.
No need for a ticket: Once in front of the barrier, an automatic reading of the license plate is carried out by the system and allows access to the car park without taking a ticket.
No more going to checkouts: Same principle for exiting the car park, without having to go through the automatic checkouts. Payment for the session is made directly in the application and by reading the plate when the vehicle leaves the car park. All payment receipts, which can be downloaded free of charge, are instantly available in the application.
