It tastes like giallo what is happening to the Spice with respect to the matter doorman. After the farewell of Ivan Provedel, destination Lazio, Luca Gotti’s team had gone in search of a new number one, and had also identified him in the last few days.
In fact, everything had been defined for the arrival of Bartlomiej Dragowski from Fiorentina, so much so that the Pole had arrived in Liguria to undergo medical examinations and sign his contract with the new team. But the situation took a totally new and unexpected turn in a short time, and the success of the negotiation was put at risk.
Spezia, the situation in goal between Dragowski and Meret
Fiorentina has in fact asked Dragowski to give up the salary for the month of July and that of August. A request that has greatly irritated the player, who is ready to return to Tuscany today, Wednesday 10 August.
The original agreement between Fiorentina and Spezia provided for 2 million euros for the transfermore 1 million and 750 thousand euros in bonusesa share that would have been distributed in blocks of 250 thousand euros, each corresponding to a given number of appearances, that is 20 (if the player had been sold before the bonus was reached, the amount to be paid would have been the total amount of 1 million and 750 thousand euros). In addition, a percentage of 50% on any future resale by Dragowski himself.
If the dispute between the Polish goalkeeper and Fiorentina is not resolved, Spezia could at that point return to the profile of the other goalkeeper evaluated in recent weeks, namely Alex Meret of Naples. Meanwhile, around midnight there were new contacts between the two clubsFiorentina and Spezia, to try to clarify the situation, which however were not decisive: therefore the player remains determined to return to Florence.
