Dragon’s blood extract, 100% of vegetable origin, is extracted from the Croton Lechleri, more commonly called Dragon tree because of its thick blood-red sap. Traditionally used by tribes in Mexico, Peru and Ecuador, the sap was applied directly to form a “second skin” with protective and healing properties. Today, this sap is still used for oral and dermal use in South America.
