The new wave of details about Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake reveals that it allows you to recruit monsters to battle as Pokémon.

For the moment, it is confirmed that The rewards will be weapons, items and also gold coins.and that these will vary depending on the tournament category and thus the strength of the monsters and their difficulty. However, it is unknown how monsters are recruited to form a team and how many can be collected.
