The new episode of Dragon Ball Daima “A Sparkling Couple”, the fourth, has an attitude that excites, intrigues and creates a certain pathos, as there is a whole new world to discover. Furthermore, the design is very well cared for in all its details, supported by high-level animation which makes everything very fresh and attractive. If the previous episodes were more descriptive, in this one there is much more action with repeated twists.
The Plot
Without the ship, Goku, Glorio and Kaiohshin set off into the third demonic world, in a reality where the heavy and rarefied air slows down movements and causes one’s energy to be consumed more quickly.
At an inn, they sell particular insects which, when ingested, have the same function as the Senzu’s magic beans. Some restore strength, others can be used to bring fusion to life.
Arriving at a village, Goku witnesses how King Gomah is crueler than Dabula, increasing the tribute that the citizens must pay him, otherwise, if he doesn’t, some years of his life will be taken away from him.
At this sight, the Saiyan wants to intervene but is preceded by a masked character who launches himself against the King’s assassins. Unfortunately his action is vain and clumsy, so much so that he would almost be captured if Goku didn’t come into action with his magic staff. Nyoi, it knocks them all out.
Having escaped from the village, the group comes face to face with the mysterious character, who turns out to be a girl…
The episode allows us to learn more about this new world, very similar to the Wild West but above all we begin to have a vision of the management of this reality by the new Sovereign. The narrative is fast, dynamic and fun, with a Goku with characteristics, not only physical but above all temperamental, that bring the character back to the first tables created by Master Toriyama, with a retro flavor that recalls the glorious past of the character.
Sympathy, naivety, bravado and above all that refined jovial aspect that restores interest to a series that with the latest epics had become repetitive and uninvolving, resulting anonymous and banal.
It will be very interesting and curious, the evolution of the new protagonist who has entered the scene also in relation to the fact that Goku wants to collect the three dragon balls of the Demonic World by facing his fearsome guardians.
