The draft resolution also demands that Iran stop supplying weapons to terrorist groups that “threaten peace and security in the entire region.” the authors of the document also call for the release of hostages held by Hamas militants.
TASS and “Axios” write that the American draft resolution condemns the actions of Hamas, but does not call for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
As “Reuters” notes, it is not yet clear whether the United States is going to put this particular document to a vote.
