Italian design, carbon frame and enough horsepower to send any supercar straight to the corner of shame. Drako Dragon is not for the faint of heart.
Drako Dragon is the most powerful and fastest super-luxury SUV in historythe press release begins.
American Drako does not shy away from superlatives when selling the hyper-SUV.
0-100 in 1.9 seconds
And if we are to believe the numbers they put forward, they have every right to play the big drum.
Because to date there is no SUV – neither electric nor fossil – that comes close.
The Drako Dragon has four motors, one in each wheel, to deliver 2,000 horsepower.
0-100km/h disappears in a staggering 1.9 seconds and the needle continues to a top speed of 321km/h.
The classic dragstrip length of 1/4 mile (0.4 kilometers) passes in nine seconds flat.
That’s nearly a second ahead of the Tesla Model X Plaid (9.83 seconds).

Ready for track driving
Four carbon ceramic brake discs on all wheels should guarantee pure stopping power with 420 mm discs with 10 pistons at the front and 410 mm with 6 pistons at the rear.
The frame is made of carbon fiber for maximum stiffness and is expected to save up to 50 percent weight compared to a metal frame, according to Drako.
The total weight must be 2200 kilograms.
It’s fair to believe that Draco Dragon isn’t completely out of his comfort zone on one course.
The battery pack also needs to be produced by yourself.
The range should be 675 kilometers and Drako promises a fast charging speed in line with the car’s 500 kW.
Luxury with a stiff price
Drako Dragon was designed by Italian Lowie Vermeersch and GranStudio.
On the outside, the Drako Dragon is reminiscent of a heavily styled Jaguar iPace, while the gullwing doors are clearly inspired by the Tesla Model X,
No expense has been spared inside either, with extensive use of leather, carbon and gold-colored anodized aluminum.
A 17.1-inch touchscreen adorns the dashboard. Note that all controls are on the steering wheel itself, there are no rear paddles.
The car is supposed to be made in the USA.
The start of production is set for 2026 and according to the plan, 5,000 cars will be produced annually.
You can reserve the car with a deposit of US$500 for the Standard Edition and US$5,000 for the First Edition today.
But with a price tag of three million kroner excluding taxes and fees, Drako Dragon is unlikely to become an everyday sight on Norwegian roads.
