In an interview with KMG, Dr. Wolfgang Schussel said that China is a modern country. “In China, I see huge investments in the development of green energy. Everywhere in the mountainous areas there are installations for photovoltaic parks and turbines for wind farms. The transport infrastructure is modern. China is in a leading position in many sectors of industrial production,” Schussel added.
Sharing his views on the Belt and Road Initiative and the Global Development, Global Security and Global Civilization initiatives, Dr. Wolfgang Schussel said that they are proof of China’s growing role in international relations. Constructive global governance initiatives are necessary. We do not hope for a unipolar world, we and China will work to create a multipolar world.
“China and Europe face common challenges and global risks. We are doing serious cooperation in decarbonisation. I think we can cooperate in the areas of fighting terrorism, dealing with attacks in cyberspace, resolving regional conflicts, dealing with inflation and others,” the former prime minister of Austria also shared.
