Consultant internist and rheumatologist Dr. Sulaiman Al-Juhani revealed the symptoms of the well-known Raynaud’s phenomenon, which affects the limb areas during the winter and extreme cold, and which affects men more than women. He stated the nature of this phenomenon during an intervention with the Sayidaty program on the Rotana Khalijiya channel.
Al-Juhani said during the intervention, warning against Raynaud’s: “This phenomenon is a narrowing of the arteries and occurs from spasm of the small arteries, which leads to a change in the color of the skin, and this phenomenon usually occurs in the fingernails and toenails.”

He continued: “This phenomenon appears more in women, noting that there are two types of Raynaud’s phenomenon, one of which is rare and does not represent a danger, while the other type is accompanied by other diseases and is more dangerous than the first type.”
