Rafael Tejido, managing director of Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital, is the speaker of the month of February of Foro SER Cantabria. The event will take place on Wednesday February 19 from 9 a.m. at the Hotel Real of Santander. His talk is entitled: ‘Valdecilla, more than a hospital’
Tejido has been in charge of the public hospital since September 1, 2019. He has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Cantabria. Prior to his current responsibility at the hospital, he was head of the High Resolution Hospital Unit (UARH), a unit created in 2002
He was the medical director of Valdecilla between 2007 and 2011, being manager of the hospital, José Luis Bilbao and Minister of Health, Luis Truan.
