Books – Muhammad Abu Al-Majd:
Dr. Mustafa al-Fiqi, the political thinker, said that what happened in Sudan was not a purely Sudanese event. Rather, it is an international African event that expresses underground currents and fires under the ashes that predict the possibility of a major catastrophe in the region, indicating that what happened in Sudan is a warning that could lead to the fragmentation of this great country.
“Al-Fiqi” added, in his interview with the “Happening in Egypt” program on MBC Egypt today, Tuesday, that Egypt should have been proactive in calling for a conference of Sudan’s neighboring countries, because we are the countries most at risk because Sudan is the strategic depth of Egypt and we are In front of a situation that requires us to support the brothers in Sudan.
And he continued: “The Sudanese people do not deserve what happened to them, and what happened to them is an adventure as a result of conflicts that have a personal part, external conspiracy, economic ambitions, and a desire to possess gold on the land of Sudan,” explaining that Egypt is the Arab backer of Sudan because the Arabism of Sudan derives from the Arab region and communication comes from Through Egypt historically and Egypt’s African continuity comes through Sudan Africa.
Al-Fiqi added that the positive point of the summit of the Sudan Neighboring Countries Conference is the warmth that has begun to emerge, albeit slightly, between Egypt and Ethiopia.
