Dr. Binsi: A Philanthropic Doctor Making a Difference in Society

A doctor knows the heartbeat of a human being, able to pinpoint every movement and pulse. There is no other man on this earth who knows man so intimately. But to recognize one’s fellow man is a gift. The realization that my life should be spent with those who are with me and those who are suffering in society. That recognition is the strength of the doctor named Binsi. Dr. Binsi has become a true philanthropist today by inspiring others and doing things that many would not do and could not do. Recently, Dr. Binsi was in the news for her decision to adopt ten more girls on her own baby’s birthday. Doctor Binsi PK of Palakkad Mannarkkad Taluk Hospital conducted the marriage of ten girls on the birthday of his daughter Ishal Fatima at the same venue.

This is only a very small part of what we have heard in the news. Beyond that, there is a vast world of volunteer work that doctors and families have been doing for years, which not many people know about. Most of the people did not know it because they hold the belief that the left hand should not know what the right hand is doing. The fact is that they did nothing to find out. This is how Dr. Binzi started talking about his bold decision. “My marriage was a similar community marriage. That day, ten girls stepped into a new life with me. All this can be done with the amount saved from salary and then with financial help from my family. My father, mother and I have a trust. That’s how we do everything. ”

Home is the best school to learn anything good. Dr. Binzi is a good example of that. The doctor grew up in the light of his father’s mercy. None of the father’s good deeds were celebrated that day. He had decided that nothing should be celebrated like that. That decision was not changed even when the daughter started following her father’s path. Educational aids for needy children, wheelchairs for disabled and medical help for needy patients are some of them. In the country itself, houses of worship belonging to all denominations and homes for women suffering from spinal ailments, were provided by the doctor during this period along with his zealous service. Binsi Doctor does most of the work by setting aside a certain amount from the salary. That’s why he thought why not celebrate his only daughter’s birthday in his own way. Today even a child’s birthday is celebrated as a grand celebration with lavish extravaganzas. Kunjumol’s birthday was supposed to be a big event known to everyone, but this mother chose a different way to celebrate it. Dr. Binsi and the trust arranged marriages for ten poor girls. For each bride, gold ornaments of five lords, wedding clothes for the bride and groom and the feast belonged to them. Along with the happy moments of the girls, daughter Ishal also enjoyed her sixth birthday.

The doctor, who is a native of Manarkad, says that the girls for community marriage were selected after all kinds of investigations. These include girls who cannot afford to buy even a gram of gold and are destitute after the death of their father. 10 deserving girls from different religious groups selected from different places in Palakkad district. The doctor tries to provide the help he can to others regardless of caste and religion. Binsi’s mother Bushara is a secretary and his father Abdul Bahar is a treasurer and Binsi’s chairperson, Nest Charitable Trust is active in the field of philanthropy. Over the years many voluntary activities have been carried out under the auspices of the Trust.

Dr. Binzi says that none of this is something that should be celebrated or made news. I never wanted to be or make the news. Then it became viral after it appeared on social media. My father showed me that I am doing it with my life. Anyone can do as I do. Those who can can do activities that do not require much financial support. Most of us today can do things like giving an early meal or doing things for a child to study. Doing something for others will not only make them happy, but you will also see the world around you change. Everyone needs a mind to extend a helping hand. From the words of the doctor, we can read how we owe it to our fellow beings.
