“I want the measures in our country to be similar to those in Europe. We need actions aimed at non-compliance with the measures and stricter control. Almost nowhere are the restrictions observed, no green certificate is required. It would be good to stop gathering large groups of people in closed places, such as nightclubs. Introduce a green certificate for teachers and public administration employees, “she added.
According to Dr. Batselova, a lockdown for the unvaccinated, following the example of other countries, would also be an effective measure to combat COVID-19.
“There were such measures in Russia, in New Zealand, which totally restricted public life for the unvaccinated. I expect that there will be many sick people in our country at the same time,” said the epidemiologist.
