The vaccine specialist revealed which is one of the true statements of Assoc. Prof. Mangarov about the coronavirus
When you’re with Kovid, it’s best not to panic and panic. First of all – do not overdo it with medication. There is no magic remedy against Kovid. This is the advice of Dr. Asparuh Iliev, vaccine safety expert, head of a laboratory in Bern.
“One of Mangarov’s true statements was that paracetamol, soup and possibly aspirin were enough in mild forms,” he wrote on Facebook.
It is especially important not to take corticosteroids from the beginning – they suppress immunity. Taking them in the beginning can even prolong the disease, advises Dr. Iliev. Aviron will not harm you, but it will not help – this is a dietary supplement. It is important to drink plenty of fluids, get some sleep and have no exercise. There is also no need to take anticoagulants in mild forms of Kovid, says the specialist
According to him, it is important to recognize the complications of the condition by several criteria:
– decrease in saturation. Buy a pulse oximeter and before use clean your hands and rub them well, they should be warm.
– intensifying cough with shortness of breath. A mild cough is one thing, a cough with a feeling of shortness of breath is quite another.
– temperature is something especially important – below 37.5-6 we can hardly say that it matters. In Kovid (especially in unvaccinated patients) it is often 2-3 weeks with a continuous increase and decrease. If you notice that the temperature remains high for a long time (above 38) and the “bright” periods decrease, this is a sign to consult a doctor.
– fatigue that does not pass, but intensifies. The inability to do your normal daily tasks at home is a sign of deterioration.
– sputum and snot, which from colorless become cloudy, yellow, yellow-green, gray – speaks of possible secondary bacterial development. Only then does it make sense to take antibiotics, not before.
– Inadequacy, disorientation, increasing drowsiness may be signs of brain damage.
– if you are vaccinated and still get sick, the symptoms are almost always a runny nose, sore throat, tiredness, short-term loss of smell, possible disorder. After a few days, this condition passes and the body recovers. The mucous membranes (throat, nose, mouth) have slightly weaker protection and it takes time to activate the immune system. The important thing is that the virus does not enter the bloodstream.
– vitamins (C, D (not more than 1000-2000 units per day)) and trace elements (such as zinc) are not proven useful, but not harmful. Do not overdo it with vitamin D – it accumulates and can be toxic in very high doses.
– bromhexine, antistenocardin, famotidine do not have a proven protective effect and taking them at first may not hurt, but will not help.
– Ivermectin has no proven effect so far and may be toxic to your liver. Colchicine has not yet proven its effect and I do not recommend it in the early stages of the disease. At the same time, there may be side effects.
“Drink fluids! If you or your loved ones are ill, expect the most severe course in unvaccinated patients. Those who have been vaccinated and those who have been vaccinated will have a milder course, although there are always surprises, especially if the last vaccine or illness stays back in time.” Dr. Asparuh Iliev.
