Dr Abdoulaye Bousso and Pr Seydi to help Gambia

The Gambia’s appeal for help to Senegal following the rapid spread of the coronavirus which has affected several personalities including Vice-President Isatou Touray, has not fallen on deaf ears. Senegal has sent a large delegation to Gambian soil for “sharing experiences”.

Dr Abdoulaye Bousso, Director of the Health Emergency Operations Center (COUS) and Prof. Moussa Seydi, Head of the Infectious Diseases Service at Fann Hospital, are part of the delegation as well as laboratory managers responsible for testing Covid in Senegal.

They will make a 4-day visit and will share their experiences with the Gambian health authorities and the different actors in the fight against the pandemic, according to I-radio.

President Adama Barrow received the delegation on Saturday. On the occasion, the Gambian head of state thanked the delegation before revealing that he had seized his counterpart President Macky Sall unofficially for help.
