DPS belongs to the people, not to Dogan and his deribes! The chairman of the party and the DPS parliamentary group, Delyan Peevski, once again defended the party’s integrity, opposing attempts to transfer the DPS brand into private hands.
24rodopi.com reported that a few days ago, the DPS received a decision of the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria, refusing to transfer the party’s brands to Ahmed Dogan.
We remind you that at the beginning of August, Jevdet Chakarov made an attempt to transfer, through a request to the Patent Office, all DPS brands to the individual Ahmed Dogan. Then a lawyer with extensive practice pointed out to 24rodopi.com that in commercial relations there is a term criminal corporate raiding and probably through these actions Chakarov and company aim to circumvent the statute and the law in order to start DPS from a new point of existence – as a private party.
Then DPS leader Delyan Peevski reacted and blocked Chakarov’s attempt to transfer the party to an individual. A deputy from the PG of the DPS commented that Chakarov’s actions are outside the law and that he once again violates the statute, for which he must bear consequences and responsibility.
With this week’s decision, the Patent Office effectively confirms the illegal actions of the derbies, stating that there is no way the brands could be transferred to Ahmed Dogan. This is because the party has two chairmen and the transfer requests submitted by Chakarov were promptly withdrawn by the DPS through Delyan Peevski, the withdrawal stating that the contract presented in favor of Dogan was invalid. I.e. the administrative body has established that the party lacks the will to dispose of the brands and they must remain in its ownership.
Thus, the authentic DPS chaired by Delyan Peevski achieves another victory over the separatists-deribes around Ahmed Dogan, who will appear in the upcoming elections not as dispatchers, but as “farmers”, on behalf of a coalition made up of other parties – “Sbor” and “People’s Agricultural Union”.
