Berita Ciamis, (harapanrakyat.com),- Dinas Perumahan Rakyat Kawasan Permukiman dan Lingkungan Hidup (DPRKPLH) Ciamis Kabupaten District, West Java, handed over a reward or award to the waste bank unit Compass.
The award at the Ciamis Garbage Bank Hall, Friday (18/6/2021), was in the form of a three-wheeled motorcycle (Viar).
The reward was the result of the Ciamis Regent’s draw on Friday (11/6/2021), during the 379th Anniversary ceremony of Ciamis Regency.
In the lottery, there were two categories for the unit waste bank, with the winner of the Compass unit. As for the winner of the individual waste bank by Diding, with a prize in the form of one motorbike.
The head of the Ciamis DPRKPLH, H. Taufik Gumelar, said that the Ciamis Regency Government through the Ciamis DPRKPLH had handed over a reward to Diding, as an activist who cares about the environment in the category of individual waste bank.
Today, he said, the Ciamis Regency Government through the DPRKPLH also handed over a reward to the Compass unit waste bank.
“Hopefully it can be useful and become a motivation for other waste banks, to be more active and better,” he said, Friday (6/18/2021).
Taufik also greatly appreciates the Ciamis Waste Bank (BSC) team and the community. Because, after one year the BSC was established it could reduce the waste that goes to the TPA.
“The BSC team continues and always educates the public about waste. As a result, thank God the current Ciamis environment is clean and valuable,” he said.
According to him, making the environment clean and valuable is indeed not easy. However, he continued, if it was accompanied by sincerity, it would definitely work. As is the case, the unit waste bank that is currently standing and has received a reward.
“If we start from a clean, diligent and patient heart, God willing, there will be good results,” he said.
Taufik also invites unit waste banks in all sub-districts in Ciamis to become agents to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19.
“Let’s break the chain of Covid-19 together. So that our lives can return to normal, and Ciamis will rise again,” he concluded. (Ferry/R5/HR-Online)
