Member of the Bekasi City Legislative Council, Arif Rahman Hakim, admitted to receiving information regarding the alleged hit-and-run perpetrator of his son, Muhammad Noval Rahman (25). Arif received the news from the Bekasi City Metropolitan Police.
“Just now from the telephone investigator. He informed me that the police had come to his house (suspect guilty),” Arif said when contacted detik com Friday (11/18/2022).
Alone, alleged author not at his house. Police then met with the alleged offender’s parents at his place of business.
“Then he said there was none, then he came to his workplace to meet his parents and his parents didn’t know there was an accident,” Arif said.
When police arrived at the residence of the suspected culprit, Arif said, the parents confirmed the presence of a Hyundai-brand car. However, the parents did not recognize the license plate in question.
“According to the police, his father didn’t know. His father admitted he had the red Hyundai car, then said he didn’t recognize the license plate, didn’t recognize that’s all,” he said.
Even though he named the perpetrator, Arif was unable to confirm whether the person who was visited by the Bekasi Metropolitan Police was the one who hit his son.
“We haven’t declared the perpetrator yet because tomorrow he wants to ask… for questioning. Tomorrow the father will take his son to the Bekasi City Police,” he explained.
“If the police have visited him before, many people in Bekasi know him. He is a businessman,” she explained.
According to Arif, the family of the alleged perpetrator is quite famous.
“Keep it going, a lot of people already know him. With his family,” Arif explained.
Arif was a little relieved to hear the progress of the police. He also hoped the case hit and run what her son experienced was soon over.
“I feel there are new developments today. I’m waiting until tomorrow for them to be summoned, they continue to be questioned and they have information that makes us, this family a little legal, God willing,” he admitted.
“Let’s hope this case ends quickly. It will end quickly and suspicions can be revealed,” Arif hoped.
