DPD Leadership Election Meeting heats up, Sultan Quarrels with La Nyalla

Full leadership election meeting DPD RI the period 2024-2029 is hot. DPD member Sultan Bachtiar Najamudin was emotional and almost fought with DPD member La Nyalla Mattalitti.

That moment happened when forms were distributed to give 25% support. The meeting was held at the DPR building, Senayan, Jakarta, on Tuesday (1/10/2024).

First, La Nyalla was seen approaching the center. But, suddenly the Sultan came to La Nyalla.

They were seen arguing. The Sultan can be seen celebrating at La Nyalla. Other members of the DPD were seen approaching to separate the two.

La Nyalla was seen leaving the Sultan who was still emotional. He was about to return to his seat.

However, the Sultan, who was still emotional, wanted to return to La Nyalla. Council members quickly arrested the Sultan.

The Deputy Chairman of MPR for the period 2019-2024, Fadel Muhammad, also seemed to calm the Sultan down. Fadel asked the Sultan to sit back in his place.
