Rental car prices continue to fall – but more slowly

Daimler truck convicted of discrimination in Brazil
SAO PAULO – The German vehicle manufacturer Daimler Truck has been sentenced in Brazil to pay compensation of 40 million reais (around 6.6 million euros) for discrimination against employees. Workers who suffered injuries at work were “isolated and subjected to harassing and humiliating situations” when they returned to work at the Campinas plant, according to the regional labor court’s ruling. Cases of racial discrimination were also reported at the plant in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo. The decision in the second instance can be appealed to the Supreme Labor Court (TST).
Online service X again applies for the ban to be lifted in Brazil
