Dozens of people were killed and injured, including Ukrainian Interior Minister Denis Monastyrsky, his deputy Yevgeny Yeni and a state minister, after the helicopter that was carrying them fell near Kyiv.
Reportedly the leadership of the interior ministry of #Ukraine died. A helicopter crashed near a kindergarten in Brovary, outside the capital Kyiv. Ukrainian police said that the Ukrainian interior minister and his deputy were among the people killed today, Wednesday, when a helicopter belonging to the state emergency service crashed near a nursery outside the capital, Kyiv, without specifying the cause of the crash.

The police chief explained that “9 of the dead were in the emergency services helicopter that crashed in Brovary, an eastern suburb of Kyiv, and a total of at least 22 people were injured, including 10 children,” stressing that evacuations will continue.
