Dozens of tanks on AM “Maritsa” scare travelers (photos)

Tanks loaded onto the tracks along the Maritsa highway made commuters wonder what was going on. There are dozens of combat vehicles, and they are located at two points on the highway in the direction of Costrengrad.

The first group was in the area before Haskovo, and the second – in the parking lot near Lyubimets. They are escorted by military police with activated alarms.

Experts explained to “24 Chasa” that the tanks are Greek and are returning from participating in an exercise at the Novo Selo training camp. They will pass through the “Capt. Petko Voivoda” checkpoint.
