Dozens of Russian vehicles fell into tank trenches dug by Russia itself in Russia –

According to the proverb, whoever digs a hole for another will fall into it himself. This is exactly what happened to Russia on its own soil in the last weekend of September.

Namely, the Russian troops experienced rather ironic losses in their counter-attack in August, occupying the Kursk region of Ukraine near the village of Plehovo, when Russian armored vehicles fell into anti-tank trenches dug by Russia itself.

Forbes, reporting on the case, says, citing Ukrainian sources, that Russia would have lost dozens of vehicles to their own graves. At least some of these vehicles were destroyed by Ukraine in a drone attack.

Russian forces had dug these armor barriers before Ukraine attacked across the Russian border in the Kursk region in early August. Thanks to Ukraine’s surprise move, Russia was not able to take advantage of its defense fortresses, but Ukraine captured them, and was now able to finance the benefit for itself.

The fact that the anti-tank barriers built by the Russian pioneer forces work as planned in the real world does not necessarily comfort the builders or the trapped soldiers, Forbes sculpts.
