Dozens of people were injured in weekend accidents. A biker died in the Litoměřice region

The most common causes are traditionally the wrong way of driving, excessive speed or failure to give way. Three participants in the accidents were under the influence of alcohol at the weekend.

In the whole week from 10 to 16 August, the number of accidents and incidents dealt with by the police climbed to 215. In addition to the aforementioned Litoměřice region, people also lost their lives in the Děčín region. Another 50 people suffered injuries. Material damage exceeded 8.6 million crowns.

Also throughout this period, police officers found the same causes of accidents as at the weekend.
