Dozens of Monkeys Cause Chaos in Depok Residential Area

Hordes of monkeys ‘attack’ to the houses in The Cozy Green Housing Complex, Cimanggis, Depok City, causing a commotion. Monkeys running over the roof tiles up to hanging from a power pole.

This group of monkeys made people afraid. Residents even locked their houses for fear of monkeys entering.

This incident was recorded on an amateur video and went viral on social media. In the video, the monkeys can be seen walking around to the ‘attraction’ on the power lines.

“Ow… ouch… ouch monkey, call Del now. There is a monkey attraction, some bring more children teh,” said the recorder.

Monkeys Numbered Dozens

A resident named Nurul (45) said the incident occurred on Wednesday (7/6/2023) afternoon. According to him, there are dozens the monkeys that came ‘raided’ Residential area.

“There are so many, more than 40 from above the precarious aja that many don’t record already on the road, crash monkey on gelantungan, serem too,” Nurul said detikcomFriday (9/6/2023).

Monkey Comes With ‘Leader’

Monkeys that come in all ages. Some are adults, some even bring their children.

Nurul said the monkeys came with their ‘leader’. They were pacing up and down on the roof of the house making a commotion.

“There are so many, the leader behind is big, wait Everything is available around on this side of the fence, Already stand aja there wait on passing he went up,” he continued.
