Authorities in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, were outraged by a photo shoot with naked girls on the balcony of one of the skyscrapers.
A scandalous video and photos appeared on social networks, taken by eyewitnesses from a neighboring building, the Daily Mail reports. The footage shows dozens of models posing without clothes during the day.
The incident caused outrage among local authorities. The United Arab Emirates is a religious state and such actions, to put it mildly, are not welcome there and are not tolerated.
Dubai police have said that “such unacceptable behavior does not reflect the values and ethics of society in the country,” the British newspaper reported.
As a result, the participants in the photo shoot were arrested. According to preliminary information, among those arrested are eleven citizens of Ukraine, 8 of Russia and about 20 girls from other countries of the former USSR. They all participated in nude photo shoots for an Israeli site 18+. Many of them have already been deported to their home countries.
The case materials have already been handed over to the prosecutor’s office for further proceedings. The girls face a rather severe punishment – imprisonment of up to six months or a fine of five thousand dirhams (about 1,200 euros). And in the worst case – both at once.
Many of the girls were budding models with a small number of followers on social media. The girls traveled around the world to participate in such nude sessions.
One of them, Victoria Rogalchuk, is a finalist in the show “Top Model of Ukraine”. Viewers remembered her with her unusual vision and short stature for the podium. Despite the success, Victoria was photographed for ads on 18+ sites, as well as her other famous colleagues.
