He added, “Accordingly, epidemiological surveillance began the investigation process. It was found that to date, 23 cases have been recorded, with symptoms including fever, diarrhea, and facial swelling.”
The statement continued, “In follow-up to investigate the causes, the two mines located inside the town were examined, and samples were collected and sent to the laboratory of the Agricultural Research Service affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture. The safety of the water in the town is also being evaluated, with water samples collected for laboratory examination.”
He concluded, “The scientific results of the laboratory tests that will be obtained will be announced as soon as they are completed, in order to clarify the reasons for the recorded cases and to prevent more recordings.”
