The Magen David Adom spokeswoman said: “Following the alarms that were heard throughout the country tonight: the MDA medics and paramedics were dispatched to treat approximately 31 people who suffered from anxiety or were slightly injured on their way to the protected area. Magan David Adom continues to be on high alert and reminds the public to dial 101 to the MDA emergency center for any medical need. After hours of tension and high alert, dozens of interceptions were seen and heard early in the morning in the sky of Jerusalem. The alarms went off at 1:45 a.m. in the warning areas of central, west, east and south Jerusalem and most of the residents of the capital found themselves in shelters – some chose to stay in the shelter from the early hours of the night. The interceptions were clearly observed in the Jerusalem sky, above the Old City, above the Knesset area and in large parts of the city. The echoes of the explosions were clearly heard, interceptions and missile trails were recorded over the Temple Mount. The volley incident in Jerusalem ended without falls, without casualties and so far no damage has been reported.
Following the Home Front Command’s announcement, the Jerusalem Municipality has updated that “after a situation assessment led by the Mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Leon, the Municipality’s CEO, Itzik Larry, and senior management, the Jerusalem Municipality updates that all the educational activities planned for the next two days have been canceled, including the special education, frameworks” “Nitsanim” for the holidays, day care centers, summer camps as well as youth activities in the administrations and youth movements. The municipality reminds that “as of the seventh of October, all the public shelters in the city are open, the municipality is prepared for any scenario and is in close and direct contact with all the security forces.”

The Home Front Command established the following instructions starting Saturday night, April 13, 2024, at 11:00 p.m. and ending on Monday, April 15, 2024, at 11:00 p.m. In the Home Front Command, gatherings of more than 1000 people are prohibited. Also, the existence of educational activities is prohibited, which means that all Passover camps and trips of the youth movements are canceled.
