Chinese warplanes enter Taiwan’s air defense zone

Taiwanese soldiers sent air patrols to intercept and deployed anti-aircraft missile systems in the direction of Chinese aircraft.
Twenty-two Chinese military aircraft entered Taiwan’s air defense identification zone. This was announced on Thursday, June 23, by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Taiwan in Twitter.

The report said that Chinese warplanes were approaching the southwestern part of the island. Taiwanese soldiers sent air patrols there and deployed anti-aircraft missile systems in the direction of Chinese aircraft.
China’s 22 aircraft included two Y-8 ASW anti-submarine aircraft, five Chinese JH-7 fighter-bombers, two H-6 jet bombers, ten J-16 strike fighters, and one Y-8 transport aircraft, according to the defense ministry. EW and two KJ-500 early warning aircraft.
Earlier, Chinese Defense Minister Wei Fenghe said that China will “fight to the end” if someone tries to “separate” Taiwan from it.
