The gendarmerie assisted this Tuesday morning, in a village of Tardenois, the officials of the population protection department, following a court decision which required the kidnapping of cattle from a dishonest owner, for mistreatment, and in particular malnutrition.
The officials acted with the volunteers of the Brigitte Bardot foundation. The gendarmerie indicates that out of some seventy cattle, a little more than half of the animals were transported to a host farm, in Seine-Maritime in this case. However, one cattle had to be euthanized by a veterinarian because of its condition.
