Dozens of cars were stickered in “Karshiyaka”

Dozens of drivers were fined for improper parking in the “Karshiyaka” district of Plovdiv. The action took place on Saturday. The “lucky ones” are all those who left their cars on “Ivan Rilski” Street, in the section from “Vasil Levski” Street to “Nikolay Haitov” Street.

The action provoked anger among those affected, with some planning to file a complaint.

“At the beginning of the street there is a sign prohibiting staying and parking, but it is limited to only 30m, i.e. to the entrance of the Ivan Rilski church. Fined cars are along the entire length of the street and after the church. I am not for 20 BGN, but tomorrow I will go to the III Police Station to file a complaint (from there is the file), because I don’t want these fines to become a relapse. If there are other fines in the group, they can do the same,” wrote one of the the fined.

Many support him, but there are also those who explain to him that he is rightfully fined.

“Don’t worry. According to the municipality’s parking plan, parking is only allowed on the south side of Ivan Rilski Street,” say people in the know. A brief reference shows that this is a fact.
