The Nel share, which was sent out for sale on Tuesday night, continued to fall on Thursday with a decline of 7.69 percent, about the same as the day before.
For Norsk Hydro, the day ended with a fall of 3.15 percent. Nel and Hydro are both among the stock exchange’s ten largest shares measured in turnover.
The main index on the Oslo Stock Exchange was virtually unchanged, with a fall of 0.06 per cent to 1,148.33 points.
The price of oil has fallen sharply in recent days, and was for a period on Thursday below 70 dollars a barrel for North Sea oil. It recovered, and at the close of trading, the oil price was up 0.5 percent to 70.66 dollars.
Oil companies such as Equinor (up 0.16 percent), Aker BP (up 1.74 percent) and DNO (up 3.07 percent) had a good day. For the latter, parts of the rise are probably due to news from Kurdistan, where regional authorities have approved DNO’s purchase of licenses from ExxonMobil.
