If you are looking for a new wallpaper for your iPhone 13, The Basic Apple Guy has released a new collection of really wonderful wallpapers. These wallpapers are designed to show the internal components of the device, in a very precise and detailed way.
These “schematic backgrounds” were created on the basis of X-ray images produced by the experts at iFixit. In a blog post, The Basic Apple Guy explains the lengthy process of creating these backgrounds using Sketch and Pixelmator:
“The backgrounds for the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max were created in a very, very boring way in Sketch using the iFixit wallpaper as a guide to the exact location of each individual component. Transistor after transistor, these backgrounds slowly came to life with many hours of work. From there, the designs were imported into Pixelmator to create a variety of amazing variations for your devices. After the iPhone 13 Pro wallpaper was finished, a second iPhone 13 Pro Max design was created from scratch. Although they share many of the same components, the size and location of the components required a complete reconstruction of the design. “

The backgrounds come in eight different designs: Black, Xray, Sunset, Slate, Neon Blue, M1, Card, and Blueprint. Wallpapers are designed for iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, but they also work well with iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini. Only, they will not perfectly match the internal components of these two products.
You can download all of these wallpapers from the website of The Basic Apple Guy. In the Photos library, just turn off perspective zoom and resize the wallpaper to fit the edges of your iPhone screen.
