On December 31, 2022, the Dow Jones Index closed on Friday (December 30), which was the last trading day of this year. Falling within a narrow range of 73 points, the Wall Street stock market will be closed on Monday, January 2, 2023 for New Year’s Day.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 73.55 points, or 0.22%, to close at 33,147.25, the S&P 500 lost 0.25% to close at 3,839.50 and the Nasdaq lost 0.11 % to close at 10,466.88.
