At the end of trading in New York, it increased by 0.48%, and reached its highest record level within 52 weeks, while strengthening its position at 0.46% and climbing by about 0.70%.
Among today’s leading stocks was Salesforce Inc (NYSE:), which rose 1.75%, or 4.42 points, to trade at 256.52 at the close. On the other hand, American Express Company (NYSE:) shares continued to rise by 1.57%, or 2.65 points, and closed at 171.04, while Visa Inc Class A (NYSE:) shares increased by 1.20%, or 3.08 points, to 259.60 at the end of the session.
As for the weakest performance at the end of today’s trading, Chevron Corp (NYSE:) shares closed down 1.27%, or 1.83 points, and traded at 142.52 at the close. Walt Disney Company (NYSE:) shares declined by 1.21%, or 1.12 points, at a price of 91.08, while Intel Group (NASDAQ:) shares closed down by 1.12%, or 0.50 points, at 44.04.
On the other hand, the best performance in the Standard & Poor’s 500 index was recorded by Incyte Corp (NASDAQ:), which rose by 8.45% at a price of 61.86. Linde PLC Ord (NYSE:) also continued to rise at 4.53% and closed at Levels of 426.72, and Alaska Air (NYSE:) stock rose about 4.42% and ended its trading at a price of 37.33.
Among the weakest performing stocks today, we mention Oracle Group Company (NYSE:), which fell by 12.46% and closed its session at 100.79, Paramount Global Class B (NASDAQ:), which lost 5.97% at 15.27, and Johnson Controls International. PLC (NYSE:), which weakened by 5.96% and closed at 53.20 in today’s session on the stock exchange.
On the other hand, the best performance in the Nasdaq index was recorded by C4 Therapeutics (NASDAQ:), which rose by 98.31% at 2.34, Aditx Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:) also continued its rise at 60.26% and closed at 6.09, as well as Icosavax Inc (NASDAQ:) stock rose by 49.48% and ended its trading at 15.68.
Among the weakest performing stocks today, we mention EF Hutton Acquisition Corp (NASDAQ:), which fell by 59.92% and closed its session at a price of 2.93, Green Giant Inc (NASDAQ:), which lost 44.08% at a price of 0.09, and Achieve stock. Life Sciences Inc (NASDAQ:), which fell by 42.20% to close at 3.15 in today’s session on the stock exchange.
The number of stocks that declined more than the number of stocks that closed higher in trading on the New York Stock Exchange, with 1582 compared to 1293, while 99 remained unchanged. As for the Nasdaq Stock Exchange, 2055 of the stocks declined, 1433 strengthened their position, while 111 of the stocks maintained their value.

The EUR/USD pair maintained stability at 0.33% and traded at 1.08 levels, while the USD/JPY pair continued to decline by 0.47% and reached 145.48 levels.
Dollar index contracts traded down by 0.29% at 103.40.
