Dow Futures in the Green Zone, Wall Street Preparing to Break Records

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Dow Futures index futures and the S&P 500 futures contract were successfully traded in the green zone in today’s trading ahead of the opening of the Uncle Sam market.

Dow Futures monitored slightly greenish 0.26%, while the S&P 500 Futures rose 0.17%. The data indicates Wall Street’s global benchmark market will open in the green and again set an all-time high.

Market optimism occurred after the United Kingdom (UK) started vaccinating its people using the vaccine from Pfizer.

Vaccination prioritizes frontline medical personnel such as nurses and doctors, people aged 80 years and over, and then only the general public of Great Britain.

Last Tuesday, the US food and drug organization, the FDA said the Pfizer vaccine after testing did not show any negative effects, even the results of the FDA assessment showed Pfizer has high effectiveness in reducing the risk of contracting the corona virus.

This comment is posted on the FDA website page, and today FDA officials will conduct a review of this vaccine in collaboration between Pfizer and BioNTech.

According to Worldometer data itself, the total positive cases of the US corona broke through 15.5 million patients last Tuesday with total deaths reaching 292 thousand.

Meanwhile, around the world, the total number of people infected with this virus has reached 68.4 million with 1.55 million people who have died.

Although Covid-19 patients continued to increase, yesterday the benchmark index on Wall Street returned to its all-time high.
