A lot of water has made the ground under the train tracks on the Dovrebanen between Eidsvoll and Minnesund unstable. Therefore the railway is closed.
– The ground under the tracks is unstable and considered so unstable that we have concluded that it is not safe to drive trains, says press officer at Bane Nor Harry Korslund to TV 2.
TV 2 writes that there will be a new update on the situation at 22.00 Monday evening, after geotechnicians have made new professional assessments of the situation.
