Doves of peace tore off Putin’s head, Zelensky’s Harry Potter – ČT24 – Czech Television

In Kiev alone, one hundred and sixty outdoor drawings have been created since the Russian invasion of Crimea in 2014, often by foreign artists. For example, the French artist Seth Globepainter, who worked in Donbas. The girl who walks on Russian dances, which he now painted in Paris, is a reminder of the courage of the children he met in the occupied part of Ukraine.

The British artist, nicknamed My Dog Sighs, did not just stick to the walls of Cardiff. He decided to transfer the eye weeping over the devastated Ukraine to paper and to donate money from the sale of prints to help those in need.

The Spanish street artist, who signs SEF, added just a brief caption to the image of a child who shows the call to “stop the war”: a quick bit, but with a lot of love.

“I realize how insignificant online support is for the brave people who are fighting for their lives and their country in Ukraine, but I hope that this small tribute will help in some way,” says London bricklayer Woskerski. As a gesture of support, he chose a girl in a blue-and-yellow cap.

Graffiti expresses participation but also aims directly at the architect of the attack – Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Plan B Street Art group, which focuses on interventions in the urban space, expressed its opinion simply. No Putin – No war, reports inscription in Helsinki.

In Los Angeles, artist Corie Mattie had Putin’s head taken away by doves of peace.

Another peace symbol, originally associated with the hippie movement and the nuclear disarmament campaign, was put to death by anonymous muralist The Rebel Bear of Glasgow.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also has his graffiti. Politician, who is a hero not only for his country, was portrayed in Poznan by a local artist like Harry Potter, while Putin is similar to the dark Voldemort. Like Potter, Zelensky has a scar on his forehead in this version – in the shape of “Z”, a letter that has become a symbol of victory for Putin’s Russia, but a sign of evil for most of the world. The meaning is clear: the underrated witch apprentice eventually defeated the Lord of Evil.
