Dour has come up with new names for 2021: ‘By July he will …

The organization of the Dour festival has released 31 new names for the edition that is scheduled from 14 to 18 July. In addition, not only Belgians such as Pregnant Guy, but also British and American acts, such as Stormzy and Freddie Gibs. ‘It will all be fine by July 2021, we believe in it’, the organization says

This year, the Dour festival could of course not take place due to the corona crisis, but the organization is hopeful that the 2021 edition can continue as usual. On Tuesday, the festival announced 31 new names for the upcoming edition, which is scheduled for July 14-18.

Dour already released the first names for the 2021 edition in June. The arrival of Angèle, Amelie Lens, A $ AP Rocky, Excision, Roméo Elvis and Niska has already been confirmed. 31 new names are now being added. These include rapper Stormzy, Pregnant Guy, Ben Klock, Freddie Gibs and Bosh. ‘A whole series of artists from very diverse genres: Dour simply stands for diversity and programs very broadly’, the organization says.

Last year, the festival had to be canceled due to the corona crisis, and the corona virus is also hanging like a dark cloud over the event sector for 2021. The organization says it does everything it can to put together an edition that meets expectations. ‘Everything will be fine by July 2021. We believe in it. Until then, and take good care of yourself and everyone dear to you ‘, the organization said in a press release.

The festival should take place between 14 and 18 July 2021. The organization announces that more than 150 names will be added to the poster. In the coming edition, two new stages will also be opened: Le Garage, the new temple dedicated to guitars, and La Chaufferie, the little sister of the Red Bull Elektropedia Balzaal, a new stage with only electronic music.

There is currently an early bird discount for the tickets, the price will go up from 1 January.
